{April 11, 2012}   04.11.2012 – Let’s Eat

Monday I thought I was going to have a day off, but I got called in.  Therefore, I ended up having a late lunch that consisted of a protein shake and a mango.  Mangoes are on sale this week at Publix, so expect a lot of Mango love in my life.

I planned meal plans for Wednesday – Tuesday.  I really don’t know how to write this entry, which is rare.  I am writing while catching up on last night’s episode of Glee, and I am distracted by Blaine’s shower scene and the fact that his brother is Matt Bomer.

Wednesday: Lunch – I’m craving cantaloupe, but I might just find something around the house.  I don’t really feel like walking to Publix, and my car is currently getting fixed.; Dinner – Fish with Dressed up Green Beans.

Thursday: Lunch – Leftover sides with Chicken; Dinner – Mango and Protein Shake

Friday: Lunch – Soup with Mango; Dinner – Out

Saturday: Lunch – Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich with Protein Shake; Dinner – Soup with apple

Sunday: Lunch – Cantaloupe with Greek Yogurt and Nuts; Dinner – Fish with Veggies

Monday: Lunch – Feta and Mushroom Omelet; Dinner – Chicken Caesar Salad

Tuesday: Lunch – Spinach Salad with Roast Beef and Apple; Dinner – Grapes and Protein Shake


Eating on my days off is so weird compared to working days.  When I am at work I don’t have time to think about eating until my manager reminds me that I need to go on break because I have been standing for 7 hours straight.

In other news, I bought a goal T-Shirt and it already fits.  It is a strange combination of awesomeness and the need to buy another goal shirt.  I am taking full advantage of the Plato’s Closet in the area, and  am going to try to sell some of my older clothes and jewelry there (hopefully later today).

I’ll be back on Friday for a workout update.  I’m looking forward to a lovely Hill Run tomorrow, and the protein shake that will follow.  I really like that I am getting used to running with a group, and it is helping me stay more consistent.  Hopefully I will be able to get in a few long runs on their Sunday meets and start training to be marathon ready by the end of the year.
